My daughter Helen is a physical education teacher. She has been worried about getting laid off since so many schools have been cutting out their physical education programs. It doesn't make a lot of sense when there are so many overweight and obese kids these days.

Helen wasn't terribly interested in studying to teach other school subjects; she really wanted to keep doing something in her field. So when someone told her about a baseball franchise opportunity, she didn't waste any time checking it out. She and her husband Bert are big baseball fans, and the idea of making a living out of teaching and coaching kids in the sport and being involved in activities like Florida baseball camps was irresistible to them. After getting the details and discussing it at length, they've become convinced it's one of the best franchise opportunities around for them. Her in-laws have said they'd give them some financial support and I've been considering doing that too. Then this could become a family affair. I enjoy watching baseball too. Helen and Bert are looking forward to working together doing something they're both so enthusiastic about.
