It comes as a surprise to many, but there are many golf jobs available to those who know the game and the industry. Here are just a few that you would qualify for with a golf education.
- Golf course manager or golf resort manager -- Someone who manages a golf course or resort must know the ins and outs of both the game and managing a business in the industry. In other words, to be a golf course manager you really need training in two different departments, which explains why this job often requires more training and/or experience than other golf jobs.
- Greenskeeper, grounds maintenance, and landscaping -- Golf courses and golf resorts are huge swaths of land that require a lot of careful landscaping and upkeep. Therefore there is a lot of demand in this department, and a lot of job security for those who understand the job and can do it well.

Typically, whether you work for someone or for yourself, your employer and/or clients will expect you to have the training and experience to demonstrate your qualifications as an instructor.
